Windows 10 comes pre-installed on the SSD drive. Unfortunately, the default for saving the Libraries (i.e. Documents, Videos, Music, etc.) is to save on the C: drive, too. So, one of the first things I did when I got my new computer was to change the default to save non-system files onto the D: drive. It was a bit confusing, but I finally got it to work out. Do that before you install Office 365 though; I ran into a few difficulties and had to totally uninstall and reinstall Office after I changed the Save destination to D: drive. I referred to this website for information on how to move my Libraries over to the D: drive. https://www.pcworld.com/article/3025345/windows/move-your-windows-10-libraries-to-a-separate-drive-or-partition.html I'm sure there are other websites you can find on Google that'll explain the process. Once you changed the default settings for your Libraries, you'll be freeing up your SSD drive just for system software. If you have a 256GB SSD drive, you should have a third of it still free/unused.
