• The Photo black and standard black won't interchange. The only place I found the 273 in stock was at Best Buy.

• When prompted, you can print using photo black if your regular black has run out. The two cartridges are different sizes & will not interchange.

• I am no expert by any means, but I don't think so. I would check with Epson, they are good about answering your questions. Best Buy tends to have the Better Prices, so I would find out what's up and make the purchase through Best Buy. Hope that helps some:)

• No, the Epson 273 cartridge is a double wide cartridge while the PBK 273 is a single width like the yellow, cyan, and magenta. As such it will not fit into the correct slot in the print head.
