The Xp 7100 did not recognize the 410XL cartridge in my printer either:
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm sorry, but that is not a true statement. The standard yield black cartridge does NOT fit in my XP 7100. I bought a 4 Pack DIRECTLY FROM THE EPSON WEBSITE and the Black XL slot DOES NOT, CAN NOT accommodate the standard yield. There are many, many complaints about this on the Web posted by Epson customers. What's up with this, Epson? You should have gotten these bugs out before releasing this product, which is an unnecessarily complicated headache all around. I'm a first time Epson printer customer - NEVER AGAIN! I'll stick with HP. At least they know which cartridges fit which printers.
