Is an adapter needed to attach USB cable? null

I don’t recall if a cable came with the printer; I don’t believe one did. I used my existing cable from my old printer which has a flat male (standard) USB end that plugs into the computer on one end of the cable and a square end that plugs into the printer. It also will connect wirelessly to the computer.
