• according to the manual I looked at the USB A (rectangular) connection is on the Epson, not the USB B (square) connection like other printers have.

• Hello GEVSea. Yes, the ET-2850 can also be used with a USB connection. Ensure that you use a USB 2.0 A to B cable for proper functionality. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.
