“Does the Eco Tank ET-4850 have to have a dedicated connection to 2.4Ghz? Will it operate via an Xfinity wifi connection to a modem that has both 2.4 & 5Ghz combined? I have been unable to split connections.”

Your computer has to be connected to the 2.4Ghz network for the printer to work. I was connected to my 5Ghz network and the printer did not recognize my computer until I switched. I do have an older router and newer ones may not have this problem.
