For my at home business, I chose the EcoTank ET-4850, however, I did compare the two printers in question before I made my decision. Features that are the same: up to 2 years of ink included, ADF (automatic document feeder) with a 30 sheet capacity, flatbed capacity of 250 sheets, can print on any kind of paper even glossy photo paper, connects via USB, wireless, WiFi Direct and Ethernet, and lastly one of my favorite features is Voice Activated Printing (Alexa, Google Assistant & Siri). Features that I found a noticeable difference are: ET-3850 NO FAX, the 2.4” color LCD screen is NOT a touchscreen, and the included ink should print up to 7,500 in black and 6,000 sheets in color! While the Workforce ST-C4100 features include Fax, scan to: PC & Cloud, 2.4” color touchscreen, included ink should print up to 14,000 in black and 11,200 sheets in color and an added feature of “Epson Solution Suite” an added security feature to protect you data! To sum it up, it’s boils down to you personal/business needs and preferences. So you need the FAX? Are you planning on printing 11,200 color sheets within the next year or so? Is not having a touchscreen a deal maker or deal breaker? They both are excellent options for any need. Again, I own the EcoTank ET-4850 & I’m so in love! It has all the features of the Workforce you are considering except: no added security app feature and it prints 7,500 black/6,000 color and is a tiny bit smaller in size but perfect for my at home business needs! Either way, you won’t regret purchasing any of them, it simply goes back to the question at hand. What are your personal/business needs? I hope this helped, have a blessed day!
