“What type of black ink is suppled with the ET-4850 - i.e. pigment ink or photo black ink? Also,is it true/fact one needs to choose to use only pigment black or photo black ink from the start with the EcoTank printers otherwise there may be problems?”

• Hi JoyfulR, The EcoTank ET-4850 uses pigment black ink. It is designed for use exclusively with Epson 502 ink bottles. Regards, Mark - The Epson Team.
