Hello. Both printers are similar in features and design. The ET-5880 is slightly faster when printing color pages and has PCL/Postscript support. PCL stands for "Printer Control Language" It is not commonly used in most popular third-party printing applications, but could sometimes be required. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.
