Are you using the hdmi2 ARC port? If so there is an option on the epson called HDMI link, this will have options for audio return, CEC, power on/off. It might also be an issue with trying to send dolby atmos. it SHOULD downsample, but if its not for some reason, that receiver might not know what to do with it. Best of luck.
