• You can connect the soundbar with Bluetooth, I don’t think it has the optical audio

• Hello Cecelia. The LS500 Projector supports external speaker connections via HDMI ARC or by using the Audio Out port with a stereo mini-jack-to-pin jack cable. Unfortunately, Digital Optical Audio is not supported on the device. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.
