“Based on the great reviews, I'm about to buy this model. My question is will the ink supply and/or the ink in the machine ever go bad - like an expiration date? I don't print a lot, so it will take me a long time to print the number of pages they state.”

According what I was told it comes with a 2 year supply of ink and you do not have to fill it up completely, If it dries in the computer use a q-tip with alcohol to clean it out. After 2 years the entire supply will dry up. Replacement for a 2 year supply is $51 at this time, I hope the 2 year statement is true because I don't print nearly as much as I did at one time.

Please try again later.Well, if your talking like you're are not going to finish it for years, do the math, but according to the company EPSON, the ink can last a long period of time ( not going "bad" ), maybe 1-3 year, but it is recommended that you print anything once in a while, ( any printer )
