A:AnswerThe cartridges that come with the printer are just for setup, but they have a decent amount of ink. I think they would give you about 20-30 full color 11x14 prints. Plenty for troubleshooting and adjusting your settings. I make prints of paintings so they are pretty saturated.
The manufacturers ink cartridges are more full, I don’t have an estimate of how many prints you could get out of them, but hopefully at least 60 full color 11x14s. There’s also XL cartridges available for this printer.
A:AnswerYes. You need dye sublimation ink. This printer doesn’t currently 11/2019 have a ciss system or even reusable chip refill so I’d go with a workforce series if you want to do sublimation.
A:AnswerI have not started to print my larger photos. I have found the printing I have done to use little ink. I found the printer easy to use and accurate in color.
