Front side (side facing down) is numbered your_name_001 back side (side facing up) is numbered your_name_001_b. Plus you can checkmark that this group has its own folder.

If you set the FF to provide you 1) the scanned copy of the photo 2) the FF corrected one 3) the back of the original photo, you will actually get 3 different files which automatically get the following suffixes (say the picture you scan is the first one in a batch - 0001): 0001 will be the "as scanned" 0001a will be the FF corected 0001b will be the back of the scanned photo FF then lets you view either "all three" or the "originally scanned" or only the "backs" of the scanned batch.
