Well, this is a rather impossible question to answer - as you have asked it. The scanner can scan up to an 8x10" photo at 600 PPI. So, doing the maths, if you want to print at a nominal 300 DPI then you could conceivable print a 16x20 without any further manipulation. On the other hand, if you scan a 2x2" print at 600 PPI, then printing at 300 DPI will render a 4x4" print, right? But on the OTHER other hand, digital images can be easily enlarged quite a bit with post processing software. Also, if you want to print poster-sized images then often 240 or even 200 DPI resolution is quite acceptable. Hope that helps.

Please try again later.Well, if you scan at 600 dpi and print at 300 dpi the simple answer would be double the print size (i.e. - a 3x5" original print could be printed out as a 6x10" print), but in truth the output print could well be done at 200 dpi (so you'd get a 9x15") plus the enlargement functions in post processing software can do a good job of larger ratios. I doubt it would be possible to turn a 3x5 print into a poster , but electronic frames (or displaying on your HDTV) should be able to display these without problems.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.it scans at 600 dpi, if you need more you'll want a flatbed scanner.
