“I have about 4,000 pics to scan and looking into purchasing the Epson 680. I don't, however, want to scan them to a cloud. Can I scan them directly to my computer, a flash drive or external hard drive? TIA”

• Yes. I prefer scanning to the computer then backup to multiple backup storage drives. It will send files where ever you select

• You can scan them anywhere you like, physical or the cloud or both simultaneously.

• I've been scanning mine to my laptops hard drive via the usb cable. Great machine very fast and efficient.
