Does this scanner have the capability to capture any handwritten notes on the back of the photo? null

It will scan from whatever small size you can drop in te feeder to about 8" wide and as long as the photo. Feed it whichever way vertical or horizontal and flip in the software.

This scanner allows the back of the photo to be scanned by a check box selection. If the back of the photo is white then it will not save it. If there is any writing on it or if there are photo lab printings on it then it will detect the writing and scan it for you. The scanner has been fantastic. I have scanned in thousands of photos so far. The speed of scanning a batch of photos is nice. If I had to put these photos on a flat bed scanner it would take me six months.

Yes, it will scan the backside of the picture.

Yes it does. When an image or document is scanned it auto detects if there is something on the back and if you have selected duplex scanning it shows you both sides. If there’s only information on the front, the blank backside of the image is not displayed.
