From the video perspective, the Epson supports the latest 18Gbps HDMI 2.0 spec while your Denon does not. If you want to run Netflix HDR/Ultra HD player/latest XBOX/PS5 content through your Denon, it will be down-converted to SDR. If you don't plan on doing any of that (which I would assume you are else you wouldn't be looking at this projector), then your Denon HDMI is fine to run video through it. If you will be, then running video through your Denon means you'll be losing a bit of the projector's "pop". Alternative is to keep your Denon for audio only and run your video through an external 2-/3-/4-in, 2-out HDMI 2.0 video splitter that allows you to run sound from it to your Denon while video goes from it to your projector. No video down-conversion would happen. From an audio perspective, your Denon does not support Dolby Atmos or Dolby Vision (latest two sound standards) which again, if you plan to go latest XBOX/PS5/Ultra HD player content, you would not be able to leverage the "latest and great sound" through your Denon.
