Hello lazerkaboom. The Home Cinema 3800 uses active 3D technology. If connected via an HDMI source, you can choose 720p, 1080i, and 1080p resolution. Please see the User's Guide on our official Epson Support page for additional information on setting up 3D Projection on the device. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.

Please try again later.*Some pointers while watching in 3D mode -Never use FINE and FRAME INTERPOLATION together 3D settings for fast scenes & crammed details *If while using FINE on then set the following -Fine Line Adjustment: 0-1 -Soft Focus Detail: 0-1 -Noise reduction: 0-1 -MPEG Noise Reduction: 0-1 -Detail Enhancement Range: 25 Default -Detail Enhancement Strength: 0-8 -Power Mode: ECO -auto iris off -color:50, brightness:50, contrast:50 ect.....(All to 50). -EDID:Normal -Color: cine or natural -3D brightness: Low or Normal depending how dark movie is. *3D note that using frame interpolation while in 3D mode will make objects look less 3D. *IMAX movies look amazing with details, super res and enhancements set to default while FINE is turned on. But once the scenes pick up speed or with lots of moving lines in the scenes its more comfortable to bump settings down. Something else might help is just setting the IMAGE to FAST instead of fine. I haven't tried any settings yet for FAST just used it with everything reset to default. I imagine though that FAST with frame Interpolation would be good but not while in 3D. The 3D just wont be the same. Try it.Save your setting adjustments in your memory slot after you find what you like that way you can jump right into where you want to when its time. *Uses Active shutter 3LCD Bluetooth/RF Waves
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I did find a good use for the frame interpolation while watching clash of the titans 3D and movies with an alike issue. The issue is lines vibrating even in slow viewing scenes they just arent stabilized enough so turning interpolation to normal while having FINE on and 3D on fixes the issue greatly but then it also adds a fast frame motion effect while the movie it's self isn't really moving any faster than its normal playback speed and the audio is still perfectly in sync. It took about 3-5 seconds to adjust after changing settings.
