“How can I get the projector to work with my AV receiver? Bought this to upgrade a previous Epson projector which was working just fine 3h before. New, projector will show setup menu from receiver, but none of the input devices. Says HDMI no signal in both”

Make sure you've a high speed HDMI cable which may be needed to transmit your 4k signal.
