• It is excellent for color, gray scale, or B&W. It has a choice of pixel density to give you a choice of draft, good, or high density for color or B&W. This also allow you to control the size of the file that results.

• Pretty well. If you are a graphic designer working on quality publications, I would recommend high end scanners that you can get under $200.00.
