Not sure what dpi you're using. If you didn't change this you'll need to increase the dpi. 35mm negatives will need a much higher dpi than scanning regular prints. You can find videos and help on how to change this in the settings menu if you need it. Google "35mm negatives dpi epson v600". Not sure how big a print you can get using a higher/highest dpi on a 35mm negative though.

The quality of your image after enlargement will depend directly on the DPI and file format of the original. Try adjusting the scanning resolution and change the file format to TIFF.
