- Answer Works with Mojave, using Epson's 32 bit software, but I've been unable to get 64 bit, software from Epson. I'm very upset with this. I may have to buy 3rd party software, or a new scanner

- Answer The short answer is yes, but there are really two issues. First, the Epson scanner, as with almost all scanners, uses a TWAIN driver (the TWAIN driver allows the seamless acquisition of a scanned image directly into a photo editing program). The drivers were created by the TWAIN Working Group in 1992 and last updated in 2015. It's likely TWAIN drivers will continue to be supported in the future. The second issue is if the photo processing software that Epson provides with the scanner will be updated and supported in the future. I see this as a minor issue since there are so many photo editing software options including freeware such as GIMP. The official Microsoft Windows 10 End of Support date is October 13, 2020.

- Answer Yes, Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 for PC and MAC is included with the software package on CD. The software package also contains a basic ABBYY FineReader OCR program.

- Answer The scanner did a great job with the 170 slides I just completed. Only scans 4 slides per scan but that is fairly common with consumer scanners. It will take you 2 to 3 minutes per 4 slides depending on how organized you are. Take advantage of the file naming feature. This will help you keep the slides chronological or alphabetical depending on your style.

- Answer The scanning speed depends on the resolution that you choose. A lower resolution, around 300 dpi, will scan faster; but this will affect the quality of any prints you make, with the largest good-quality print being about 4 x 6 inches. The higher the resolution you choose, the longer the scans will take. I have found that a resolution of 1200 to 1500 dpi works well for 8 x 10 prints, and the scan only takes about one minute to complete.
