“I am trying to run my laptop via HDMI to this projector. From there, I am trying to run the audio via the Red and White component to our soundboard which also recieves the red and white component cables. I don't hear any sound. I have changed settings”

Hello RM22. The red and white audio ports are used to play sound through the projector's speaker system by connecting an RCA audio cable. Alternatively, there is an Audio out port that you can use to connect external speakers. To do this, you would need an RCA stereo mini-jack-to-pin-jack cable. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.
