QuestionCan this projector be mounted on the ceiling? (I have an Autistic child). What is the minimum distance from a 100" screen? Thank you.

- Answer Hi George, You can mount the Pro EX10000 from the ceiling. A setting in the menu allows you to flip the image when the projector is inverted. The minimum distance from the screen with a 100" diagonal display is 9' 9 1/8". Regards, Mark - The Epson Team.

QuestionDo you think this projector would be durable enough to go “on tour?” in my multimedia shows? I would be setting this up at about 125 venues per year and transporting it by car in a protective case.

- Answer Hi Lucas. Thanks for considering the EX10000 for your multimedia shows! The EX10000 is bigger than the traditional portable projector, but for good reason. It packs 4500 white and color lumens in a compact format, so you can easily handle most lighting conditions. The EX10000 does come with its own carrying case, but if you will be “on tour,” having a hard-shell protective case is best. We think the EX10000 would be perfect for a tour since it’s powered by Epson’s laser technology and not a traditional bulb. You don’t have to worry about replacing a bulb when you’re on the road. QuestionI work with children and occasionally I have a kid come up and look into the light shining out of my Epson 3LCD projector. I am wondering if the light shining out of this projector is any more or less dangerous to eyes. It IS a laser, after all. PEW PEW!

- Answer Hi Lucas, Thank you for your question. The laser light source gets converted to a normal bright light when emitted from your Pro EX10000’s lens. QuestionI am trying to run my laptop via HDMI to this projector. From there, I am trying to run the audio via the Red and White component to our soundboard which also recieves the red and white component cables. I don't hear any sound. I have changed settings

- Answer Hello RM22. The red and white audio ports are used to play sound through the projector's speaker system by connecting an RCA audio cable. QuestionWould this projector be a good choice for a golf simulator?

- Answer Hi r2t2ellis, The Pro EX10000 is bright with great colors, has a built-in 16 Watt speaker, and uses a long-lasting laser light source. At 44" from the screen the image will be 40" diagonally and at 474" from the screen, the image size will be 412" diagonally. QuestionDoes this have bluetooth out in order to hook to a sound bar?

- Answer Hello AK1. Unfortunately, Bluetooth functionality is not available for the projector. However, you can connect external self-powered speakers to by using the Audio L/R output on the back of the projector. To do this, you would need an RCA or stereo mini-jack-to-pin-jack cable. - Answer Hello Curious. Business model projectors are great all-around devices generally used for presentations, viewing videos and connecting computer displays in office environments. In comparison, home projectors focus more on the entertainment viewing experiences where image quality is a priority in watching movies, using streaming devices, playing video game consoles, and more. Keep in mind that almost all models have similar connection types, but features can vary. Depending on your room and screen size, the EX10000 can be placed between 35 to 699 inches away from a display. For more information, please see the projector placement section in the User's Guide. - Answer Yes, for a temporary projection project, presentation, or backyard movies. It’s awesome with the 150 inch screen I set up in my backyard, but it can go so much bigger. It’s like a drive in movie theater in your back yard. Great for small projection mapping projects.
