• It depends on the environment (dust and moisture). I have this same configuration that I use permanently for a golf simulator and it works great.

• We have no idea, since we've only used it inside, where it works very well. No idea what exposure to wide temperature and humidity changes outside will do to the performance, reliability, or longevity of this projector.
