“This scanner seems ideal, but does it scan by "feeder" type only? I'm interested in scanning material from books. I've never had one and wonder if the device scans as a vacuum per say, from the bottom of the unit swiping motion.”

• Feeder scan only as far as I know, probably need a flatbed scanner to do what you want
