Hi SMUT, You can stack and scan 35 sheets of letter-size paper, or 10 sheets of Legal-size paper in the WF-3820. Scanning software is included. It is not difficult to use. The WF-3820 prints, scans, copies and faxes. Epson's tech support can assist and is available online and by phone. Regards, Mark - The Epson Team.
