• It does. The USB reader however does not recognize PDF files.

• Hi Ej, The WorkForce Pro WF-3820 automatically prints on both sides, but it has a single-sided scanner. It is easy to setup for use with a computer, smart phone and tablet. If you need two-sided printing and scanning, consider the Epson WorkForce Pro WF-4830. It is currently available at Bestbuy.com (inventory levels can vary). Regards, Mark - The Epson Team.
