when you print, do you have to "wake up" the machine manually or open the front panel? or will it just print with no manual intervention (asking bec some Canon's are like that--painful). TY null

Hi JimJinNJ, If you scan or print using the WF-3820, it will wake from sleep mode without any manual actions on your part. This is true whether it is connected to a computer via USB, or to a computer, phone or tablet using WiFi. Regards, Mark - The Epson Team.
