“I only need black and white copies. Does this printer need color cartridges even for b&w printing?”

• Hello Billy. The WF-2960 requires all Ink Cartridges for functionality. This includes Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.
