• You can always use the printer directly connected via USB, but in my experience the Epson has never had WIFI issues unless the network itself was having an issue. You just set it up and it works.

• If your wifi is not active, you will not get communication to the printer, therefore, the answer is no. In fact, my wifi was out for 4 days due to a storm, and I had to re-install it to the printer.

• Probably not. This is a wifi machine. I don't even think there's a plug to use for this thing if the wifi goes out. It sure didn't come with any cables (other than the power cable)
