No. 2.4GHz only. That offers the largest signal range. 5GHz is better for HUGE file transfers, like video streaming. Printing doesn't require that.

Short answer is "YES". Long answer is that a 5G Wifi...which stands for Fifth Generation WiFi is simply faster than the older 2.4G WiFi...Printer works with both. This is an excellent wireless printer.
