I was able to use Stratmore 300 two ply bristol board using the rear paper feed. Since that paper was Tabloid size, I didn't need to set up a custom size. I recall reading in the Users Guide (get that from the Epson site) that it's possible. Also I read on some other forums that the WF7720 was able to print on thick watercolor paper.

You have to take care when placing paper in the rear feed, if done correctly, the printer will "take" the paper and move it inside itself a few inches. If it doesn't, you'll get prompted to re-insert the paper first thing when the print job is sent to the printer. I had no problem readjusting the paper my first try.
