Q: QuestionWhat if the cameras are not in direct sunlight? Will these work out of the box if we put the cameras outside, but not in direct sunlight? Like underneath a front porch?

While the built-in solar panel is designed to keep your camera charged with as little as 1-2 hours of direct sunlight per day, its efficiency will be affected if placed in shaded areas, such as under a front porch. The camera will still work, but placing it in such a location might limit the solar charging effectiveness, and the battery will eventually need to be recharged manually if it doesn't receive enough sunlight. For the best results, refer to the installation guidelines provided in the eufy Security app and aim to position the camera in a location where it can receive direct sunlight for at least part of the day.

Q: QuestionMy homebase 3 will not stay online. I’ve gone through and deleted all twice now as well as going through app and using pin in base to reset. It says not connected to internet, check connection. Everything else is connected and internet is on.

• A:Answer according to research i have seen on this question and that i don't see any capability within the app to do so. The answer is: No, you cannot set it up to do automatic recording for a length of time, it only records off of a trigger and there is a certain length of time you can record once triggered.

• A:Answer More of these cameras will directly go to the HomeBase3. I have the doorbell camera with wifi booster, it records locally and will not interact with the base. I also have the 2k pan and tilt camera and it will not interact with the base. All of these are viewable once your register them in your app.
