Most wireless home devices connects only to 2.4GHz WiFi signal. According to Eufy: Please note eufySecurity devices only support 2.4GHz WiFi network, which means you will need to connect your mobile device to your 2.4GHz WiFi network, and then connect your eufySecurity device to the same 2.4GHz WiFi network during the setup process in eufySecurity app.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sorry if I replied late. I believe I had the same issue. You require the homebase or the doorbell chime which works as a homebase for eufy to work. Eufy has encryption and the homebase needs to be installed for data storage. You do not connect directly to wifi.
