• Neither… it is not set up for SLI, there is no output for an SLI jumper any were on the card.

• the card do not have SLI but would be a good upgrade

• No you do not, but using one generally results in a 60-90% increase in frame rate. This is due to scaling, which does best in two-GPU setups.

• There's no SLI bridge port on this card so no way to connect the 2 cards. SLI on newer graphics cards have not yielded any benefits since GTX (7) series cards. Better to buy a more powerful card than to attempt to make SLI work anyway. Good Luck.
