You should be just fine. Cables will be a little more thick than the current ones but otherwise it’s all the same just plug and play.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You want to be using about 80% of the power supplies power by rule of thumb. Running too low or too much through the power supply and you can have issues.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I personally don’t see any risk, the only thing is make sure your hard ware takes the plugs it comes with which you can see on the back of the power supply so you don’t buy something that won’t work due to outdated hardware. But I don’t see in any risk in get a more powerful power supply it’s most likely safer for your hardware and the power supply it self if it only recommends 400Watts but you get a 1000Watt one thing you are ready to upgraded later on and the power supply won’t work as hard so it should last longer. So for the rambling hope it helped
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can upgrade without risk. The PSU itself has set voltage regulation for each component that is connected to it. All that you really get is the ability to connect more devices to your system without stressing the PSU or overloading your cpu and gpu.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The 1000 watts will not harm your old computer. The 1000 watts is just more than you need.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can with future upgrades possible
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.no
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Probably not but if you don't need the extra 400 watts then save your money. More watts doesn't equal more performance unless you're currently undersized.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.you should have no problems
