Its a PSU by EVGA - it works
||Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.I have run a LEPA 1600 in my rig for a decade. When it came time to upgrade Frank, it seems the LEPA just didnt want to go for another decade, so I had to pick up a new PSU. 1,000w barely covers what I need, but it works and has been stable. Overclocking a board, GPU, CPU, and RAM does take up some wattage. So far this PSU has done a great job. Still too early to know what its long term performance will be.

Great PSU.
||Posted .What started as a i7 2600k refresh/Madden 19 turned into a new Coffeelake I5 8500 build. This was what started it and it should work well with that processor and a r9 295x2.

Died After 7 months
||Posted .Owned for 8 months when reviewed. My power supply died after 7 months. Working with EVGA on warranty repair. Didn’t even overload the system cause my PC is still not running a dedicated video card due to the shortages. I9 cpu , 2 NVMe SSD and a water cooled system for the CPU. Got a different power supply while this is in warranty repair.

Q: QuestionMy current Power Supply Unit is on its last limited functionality & is a 600 Watt Model ULT-XC600W. Can I easily & without risk to my Computer upgrade to & install a 1000W Power Supply Unit like this one or is this a risk to my old Computer Hardware?
Asked by Corwin.
- A:Answer You should be just fine. Cables will be a little more thick than the current ones but otherwise it’s all the same just plug and play.

Q: QuestionWill this fit in any case?
Asked by Armstrong.
- A:Answer This will fit in any ATX Tower PC case. I believe that most computer towers today adhere to the ATX standard so it should fit in yours. I have a Dell XPS 8930 Desktop and swapped out the 450 Watt Power Supply with this one in less than 10 minutes. If in doubt, you should contact your local Best Buy Sales Rep and provide them with the brand and model number of your PC and they can look it up for you.

Q: QuestionI am upgrading from a 750W EVGA to this 1000W. Question is, may I use my old cables so that I don't have to remove all the custom wiring I did for my 750w PSU? Is there any danger with using the same cables?
Asked by Barkin.
- A:Answer PSU models have different layouts even within brands. While it may work manufacturers would not suggest this. They actively quote against this.
