In my opinion, it's probably defective, but even if it wasn't there's lots of complaints of having to daily (or more often) re-boot - and zero help from Roku.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello Bob! In order to utilize the TV controls, your new remote will first have to be paired with the TV. To do so, from the Roku Menu > Settings > Remotes & Devices > Remotes > Voice Remote (In use) > Set up remote for TV control.
