A:AnswerHi, Sony's commitment to customer satisfaction is our top priority. The lens is fully compatible with the camera. Please note: the focal length will become (24-105)*1.5= 36-157.5mm. Thank you so much for your question. And thank you for choosing Sony.

A:AnswerA couple of factors that you left out. What type of shots do you want to capture? How far are you from the action? Are you looking for depth of field or freeze action? The new Sony's have a great ISO range. You can afford to go to a higher ISO to get more sharpness and a faster shutter. The A7iii is a nice camera, but it doesn't track focus as well as the A9. The A9 is a great sports camera while I like the A7iii for video and photos where I don't have to rely on autofocus. The Sony G series lens are a little more expensive, but they are perhaps the best lens for the money. I have lenses that go down to a f1.4, but I try and shoot at a f5.6. I only go to a f1.4 or f2.8 if I want to make the background soft. I have a Sony G series 70 to 200 f4. The f2.8 is a lot more expensive. It tracks well and is very sharp. I also have the Sony G series 24 to 105 f2.8 and this is my standard lens. If you have doubts, try and rent a lens and see what works best for you. https://www.borrowlenses.com is a great place to rent photo-gear.
