Yes it can be used outdoors in flood light, we do. In white light it is equivalent to 100w, not in colors, it is not as bright.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I used it for a month during the rainy season and it worked fine, I used exterior flood light lamp holder that sealed the bulb well and nothing got into the socket. If you use the brighter settings on the bulb, it covered my yard well.
