• If you are referring about the "New" Nintendo 2DS XL of the newer model then yes, The game will run on the newer system models and is a must requirement for it's a New Nintendo 3DS exclusive game that will only be playable on the powerful system unlike the older predecessor of the 3DS systems for example like the original 2DS.
