Hi larry! The Fire TV Recast can record any over-the-air live TV program that is available to you via a digital HD antenna connected to your Fire TV Recast. You cannot use Fire TV Recast to record live TV programs from any other source, such as cable or satellite boxes or streaming apps. I hope this helped answer your question, have a great day!
