I know the Alta doesn't tack heart rate and that is basically it. The Alta is def a little smaller as well. So if you want something smaller and don't care about HR then Alta is good but if you want to track your HR and you don't mind something just a little bigger then go with the Chargr HR2.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the Charge HR 2 and the Alta. Alta does not have heart rate. It keeps track of steps, distance, calories burned and active minutes. The Charge 2 does all the same plus floors climbed. They both show call and text notifications and have silent alarms that you can set. They both have the option to turn on the "reminders to move." The Alta does not have a stopwatch but the Charge 2 does. There are other features on the Charge 2 that I haven't even tried out yet like where you can add exercise shortcuts in the Fitbit app. I still have to go through more of the Charge 2 101 Guide on the app to see what that's all about. There's also a "Relax" thing on there that I think you can set and it guides with breathing techniques or something? Lol! I like to wear the Alta for work stacked with a couple of bracelets bc it blends more since it's a thin band. I wear the Charge 2 for walks or the gym. I guess it depends on how much stuff you're looking to keep track of or the look you're going for ;) The bands on both the Alta and the Charge 2 can be switched which is fun if you want to change up the look! Hope this helps!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Alta is smaller
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I know one difference is it's wider band than Alta, the Charge monitors heart beat
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Charge 2 tracks everything Alta does, and also adds: floors climbed, heart rate, and assisted GPS for run tracking (requires smartphone nearby). The screen is also bigger than the Alta and the clasp is a traditional locking clasp. The Alta has replaceable bands that you can change to match your style, outfit, or mood.
