The Blaze doesn’t have an internal gps - it connects to your phone and uses the gps signal from that. But, once you’re connected, it can track a bike ride, and does display distance on the watch.

The GPS works through your smart phone. It will provide you detailed maps of your route.

Gps tracks through phone, the device just picks up arm movement and heartrate to determine steps

The Fitbit Blaze has CONNECTED GPS which means you have to have your phone with you in order to track your global position. Here's a link to more information
