Ii just received my fitbit blaze yesterday its been charging for 24 hours and it still says "battery low" how do you know if its charging? null

It shows a battery picture while charging. I had to return my Blaze 3x because it wouldn't charge.

When it does not say "battery low"... check your connection. There will be a green charging animation filling the whole screen.

When you inserted it into the charging case, did you see a picture of a battery show up? if not then you haven't inserted it correctly into the holder. I only say this because that is what happened to me the first time. If it is inserted properly then you may just need to return it.

That’s odd, it usually takes me approximately 1 hour (at the most 1 ½) to fully charge-depending on how low the battery is. Nevertheless, these are two ways you will know if it’s charged: 1. Once it’s charged if you happen to not be around when it completes, you can tap on it while it is still in the cradle, it will show you the battery bar and you will be able to see if it’s fully charged or not. 2. Depending on which APP version you have on your computer; if you are logged in, you will get a message notification on your computer that it is fully charged. Perhaps the Blaze is not sitting in the cradle properly; otherwise, it could just be defective.

The charger plugs into a USB port, then take the blaze module out of the band and place it into the charger and close the door on the charger until it clicks close. A large blue battery indicator will appear on the front of the blaze module, indicating the charge level and whether it's charging. Use the supplied USB wall adapter or use a cell-phone charger that puts out 1.0 amp or less. Using a tablet charger of 2.0 amps or more doesn't work right. After it charges there is a little charge indicator that is always visible (in any screen of the blaze except the home page that shows the clock) in the upper left hand corner of the blaze module.

When I plug mine in, the screen shows a battery in the upper left corner that looks like it is filling up. Are all the plugs connected properly & is the case completely closed around the face? My charger didn't close right the first time I tried to charge mine...

Make sure the box closes and that the screen is facing up. Mine takes 1-2 hours to charge. Yours could be defective.

Once you lock the square insert into the cradle, you will see it light up and the battery icon will begin filling up.

You have to make sure it's secured in the charger correctly. When you snap it into place, if the screen goes off right away, you probably don't have it secure right. Take it out and refit it in again. You should see the battery flash for awhile to let you know that it's actually charging.
