Yes, you can. As long as your phone is near (in your pocket) and your headphones are connected, you can see who is calling and press answer on the Blaze to have the phone picked up. Once the call is over, your music comes back on. I use this feature in the gym and while driving as well.

The screen is small so it is hard to read it and adjust something quickly on a motorcycle. Especially if you have your gloves and jacket on.

You can see who is calling, but cannot pick up or adjust volume. Those would still be through the phone. It does show texts, but you still have to reply via phone.
