I am allergic to latex and didn't have any trouble. I did order a metal replacement band with a magnetic clasp because I wanted my Fitbit to look classier and blend better with my jewelry. I get compliments on this combo all of the time.

The website says the band is made of "elastomer". You can purchase a leather band is availble for seperate purchase for $70.

There are litterally dozens of different options (including things that you are not allergic to) ... all of the bands are interchangeable if you want.

Not sure of the material, I upgraded to a metal Milanese band. It was $9 online, very adjustable and comfortable.

most are made from silicon, you can get different versions though, albeit not the name brand elsewhere. There are even leather bands for them.
