• Time & Date appears always when you try to look for available data on screen. For HR , you need to do Tap Gesture once which scrolls menu to right on Fitbit where you cab see HR data available.

• Time can be set to show by raising your hand or manually with the hit of a button. The other functions you ask about, yes you use the button to toggle through them or sync and you can view them on your phone.
